Dear X-Road 250 rider,

the X-ROAD 250 owners manual may contain errors of technical nature. It is, as I have been informed, obviously not the "final version" yet. The information came from "mbox" a close relative of one of the Tiger Motors in Bangkok, but not by Tiger Motors themselves, raising the question who is wrong and who is right.

May be you find the errors! It is a little bit like a guessing game. But I would like everybody to participate and write his experiences, with or without the "provisional manual", and publish them into the XROAD - topic underneath TECHNICAL DISCUSSION within the Tiger-Sachs-Forum. Within a short time we might be able to produce a "final version" of the manual, without having to wake up the sleeping TIGER in Bangkok.

As the reprinting and reproduction of the manual is not allowed, I can only let you have a look in my email folder, containing the original email and the attachment. Make sure, that you do not download or copy this PDF-file as it is copyrighted, and strictly forbidden. Requests by email please.

Regards

News

My efforts to supply the X-ROAD riding public with the errors within the manual, and to finally correct them, were undermined. It looks like "mbox" rather will keep the customers of TIGER Motorcycles in the dark, than working to alter the errors in the manual provided.

I am sorry for the closing of the topic x-road at Tiger-Sachs-Forum and I am not amused by the restrictions, which were implemented on my accounts at "GT-Rider" and the "Tiger Sachs Forum" by the moderator  "mbox", a close relative of one of the bosses at TIGER Motorcycles in Bangkok. It speaks for his understanding of democracy and free speech. Here my last post regarding a possible review of the manual.

"If these guys at TIGER in BKK cannot get their act together, why should we wait for the sleeping Tiger to wake up?

Where there is a Wheel there is a Way! Wrong my friend!

Where there is a WILL,there is a way.

I am not that much thaionized, that I accept every situation as is ( the common "mai pen rai" attitude). If we want to move ahead and get this manual on the right track, get it done right, then you should be the first one to publish the errors you already found (mbox). I will also review the manual, but would have to question every single item mentioned. Lets discuss them. We might even be able to produce a workshop manual one day.

But when we keep on sitting on our butts, and exchanging compliments within the forum, we do not get nothing done, just like the importer of the Sachs X-ROAD 250. I do not think, that we are that old, that we cannot accomplish this task. You can start posting the errors you found already right here.

I am willing and prepared to edit the owners manual with the appropriate corrections. You got me?
